I'm very excited today to introduce a new drug called wegovy.
Wegovy is coming out I hope this week and will be available to anyone who qualifies. Currently the FDA has qualification measures where you should have a BMI of at least 30 or 27 with other risk factors.
What is Wegovy?
Wegovy is semaglutide but up to 2.4 milligrams. Many of you have seen the commercials for a related drug called Ozempic. Well, this is a higher dose now indicated specifically for weight loss.
The drug is a form of a hormone called GLP-1.…
